How ChatEngram works
1. Capture
The extension observes supported AI chat pages and saves conversations while you use the original web interface.
2. Search
Saved conversations are indexed so you can find old answers, prompts, citations, code, and decisions later.
3. Reuse
Important conversations can be exported or synced to Markdown, Obsidian folders, Notion, Google Drive folders, or OneDrive folders.
Privacy and data boundary
ChatEngram is local-first. Captured conversation content is stored in the browser by default, not uploaded to ChatEngram servers as part of normal capture. Website accounts, billing, licensing, and optional usage analytics are separate from the conversation capture pipeline. If you enable a sync integration, your browser sends selected conversation content to the destination you configured.
